The IT Network and Security (IT-NSC) Shift Lead will support the Missile Defense Agency IRES contract with work at Schriever AFB, Colorado. Primary duties include being responsible for all facets of a continuous operations center. These responsibilities include network, system, and cloud systems monitoring/surveillance, environmental monitoring, incident management, and MDA Cybersecurity handling. Support, and service maintenance activities including Change Management coordination during the assigned shift day/time. The IT-NSC shift lead is responsible for all aspects of IT incident management and escalation, ensuring that incidents are effectively escalated, managed and resolved with full communication of status, plans, and actions provided to executive management and the Government customer. The IT-NSC shift-lead must provide guidance and lead troubleshooting in dynamic, time constrained scenarios to matrix staff, including network, systems, and application engineers, in a geographically distributed enterprise. Coordinates with the Incident Manager, NSC Lead, and other leadership across the organization to meet service levels defined for the IT Services organization. This job roles/responsibilities includes working 12hr shifts which alternates every 4 months.

Requirements:An active DOD Secret clearance is required. Must be a US citizen.Candidate must possess an AS degree and at least 7 years general experience, and 4 years related experience. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, verbal and written, at both technical and senior/Executive management levels, as well as experience in metrics-based IT Operations and Maintenance (O&M) teams. Experience with Remedy and SNMP monitoring tools (e.g., Micro focus/HPOV). Must have education or experience with ITIL framework and ITIL-based processes, to include continual service improvement, change management, and problem investigation.

Desired:DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security , GSEC, SCNP, SSCP,CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA); ITIL v3 Foundations certification. Previous work experience as a Windows/Linux System Administrator supporting a large Enterprise with knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 2008/2012, Linux/UNIX Operating Systems, EMC Storage, Symantec Netbackup and SCCM Patch Management solutions. Previous work experience as a network engineer, including hands-on experience designing, implementing and managing network components including switches, routers, firewalls, and cryptographic devices. Previous cyber-defense or information assurance experience, including experience with DISA mandated security tools to include Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Host Based Security System (HBSS), analyze results and create reports. Previous Network Operations experience in a network operations center or other 24x7x365 IT Operations environment. Experience in management of service delivery staff, in a matrix-managed, geographically dispersed environment.
