Deputy Organization Manager for System Test and Resource Sustainment - IRES - SAFB
Serve as deputy to the Test Stakeholder Task & Integration Manager (STIM) for System Test and Resource Sustainment on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract . The deputy must be an expert with a proven understanding of customer requirements and knowledge of what skills and resources will be needed to meet those requirements. Support the reporting of the organization’s overall Task Orders (TO) performance, cost, schedule, and mission success; interfacing with MDA and TOs’ stakeholders and customers throughout the TOs’ life-cycles; staying in lock-step with TOs’ customers to provide daily, on-the-ground communications and coordination, advocate for each TO’s priorities, and perform integrated scheduling and de-confliction at the TO level. Support the STIM with internal and external coordination and integration across the contract to identify and integrate resources to meet stakeholder needs for their assigned TOs. Ensure and organize for agility in workforce utilization, training, and tools. Provide for the planning and execution of Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Ground Tests (GT) using Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Labs, actual Operational Systems, as well as System Pre-Mission Tests (SPMT), System Post-Flight Reconstructions (SPFR), and other digital or HWIL events; and to provide transparent and seamless sustainment support to test related infrastructure at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC).
Requirements:Must have a bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 11 years of relevant experience and 5 years in management or leadership roles. Experience must also include five years in missile defense, missile warning, or command and control. Candidate must have a working knowledge of ballistic missile defense system and testing, and be proficient in BMDS event management, strategic planning, preparing proposals, managing task orders or large organizations, using earned value management, and managing risk. Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
Desired:TS/SCI clearance. Working knowledge in IT operations and management in support of infrastructures and weapon systems, extensive knowledge of and contacts within the Missile Defense Agency, experience in BMDS testing, and experience leading organization(s) or group(s) responsible for BMDS event planning, integration, execution, or the models that enable the testing.
