· Deliver designs for multiple projects at the same time.

· Assist/Create visual designs and interaction flows for all product lines.

· Understand use cases and create storytelling to communicate design ideas.

· Rapidly iterate on designs within engineering and design constraints.

· Develop relationships with the unique Product Lines within Polaris Alpha to help define detailed product requirements as prototypes, descriptions

and detailed wireframes.

· Collaborate with engineering throughout the development cycle to iterate on and deliver highest quality product designs.

• Conceive, develop, test and present ideas that deliver the highest quality user experience in terms of innovation, simplicity and consistency.

• Communicate and present the designs and design ideas to stakeholders and developers as visualizations in a clear, well-documented form.

• Further develop the designs and design materials in sufficient detail that they can be expressed as clear features suitable for implementation by

software development teams.

• Work with developers to ensure the designs are implemented as intended and the integrity of the user experience is maintained in the final

product.

• Continually incorporate feedback to improve the UI/X experience.

• Deliver high-quality, on-brand, best practice, UX design as well as high quality reference/working code.

• Develop a deep technical understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the product lines and inform design based on knowledge of the

products.

• Employ best-practice design and prototyping methodologies.

• Participate in the full lifecycle of product development; including ideation, design, development, implementation and validation.

· 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer creating consumer-friendly interactive designs.

· Excellent grasp of the design thinking and process including Product/Interaction/Visual, with the know-how to move from pencil on paper to layout to

pixel-perfect handoff using tools such as Sketch, Adobe, Invision, and Zeplin.

· A great portfolio that showcases deep visual and interaction design skills with an emphasis on simple and intuitive designs.

· Ability to rapidly produce multiple UX/UI concepts.

· Strong communication skills to clearly articulate your concepts with rationale—and evangelize on their behalf.

· Experience designing web and mobile products.

• Excellent people and communication skills and ability to work closely and independently with business stakeholders to determine their requirements

and convert them into technical solutions.

· Ability to work within a cross-functional team and handle multiple projects with tight deadlines

· Outstanding storytelling and presentation skills

· Strong strategic skills in assessing business and user scenarios, approaches and deliverables

· Working knowledge of how compositions translate to HTML, JavaScript and CSS used to deliver feasible responsive designs

· Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in typography, color theory, page layout, and iconography

· Excellent creative, conceptual, and problem solving skills

• BA/BS in fine arts, graphic arts, human factors or equivalent experience.

• Experience designing Intelligence Analytical Products

• Noticeable desire for innovation, balanced with business needs, and customer expectations

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including Agile

development, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operation
