Job Description

Volt is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a temp to hire opportunity in Colorado Springs.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Repairs system or equipment failures of mechanical or electrical nature.

  • Completes work orders in a timely manner and communicates status of work orders.

  • Analyze equipment failures and make recommendations for minimizing downtime and extending equipment life.

  • Coordinates maintenance repairs with production to minimize equipment downtime.

  • Controls the machine library where manuals and supplier information is kept.

  • Maintains maintenance records and histories on processes and facilities.

  • Generates and trains employees on preventative maintenance procedures and schedules

  • Supports introduction and implementation of new processes and technologies into production areas.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Working knowledge of CNC, welding and pressing machinery repair.

  • Demonstrated ability to repair machinery.

  • Capable of reading blueprints, electrical and pneumatic schematics.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • 2-5 years of experience.
