Data Direct Networks Intern - Continuous Integration Automation Engineer in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop new features for the Continuous Integration infrastructure used for automated testing of DDN products

  • Implement automated solutions to solve problems and expedite test.

  • Create and maintain automated test scripts to improve depth of test for all phases of testing storage subsystems

  • Work with other test and development engineers to implement an automation test architecture that is flexible and reusable across storage platforms.

  • Colloborate with cross functional teams to innovate automation solutions

  • Automation deliverables are easy to utilize and flexible enough that any test engineer can execute with minimal training.

  • Support development & QA teams with system setup, administration, configuration and troubleshoot equipment issues.

  • Triage of automation results

Qualifications for this role are:

  • Work towards a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (computer science/engineering or related) is required. (2nd or 3rd year programming student)

  • Ability to read and understand coding languages and logic

  • Experience with some or all C, Perl, Python and BASH; experience with XML, Javascript, and/or SQL is a plus

  • Good problem solving, troubleshooting, organizational, interpersonal and team skills

  • Ability to work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multicultural engineering team

  • Self-motivated, passionate, and driven to achieve committed milestones

  • Strong team player with excellent written and verbal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment with a broad scope of evolving responsibilities
